Bumblebee Jasper is a rare, volcanic, brightly banded yellow‑orange stone from the Papandayan Volcano in West Java, Indonesia, known for its dramatic colors—but it’s not a true jasper. It’s a calcium‑carbonate–based rock colored by sulfur, realgar, orpiment, and manganese oxides, giving it that unmistakable “bee‑striped” pattern.
