Cold Mountain Thunder Eggs from Mexico
Cold Mountain Thunder Eggs from Mexico. Each piece has been cut and polished to reveal its unique agate interior—swirls, bands, and pockets that look like tiny landscapes frozen in stone.
Cold Mountain Thundereggs come from Mexico's Sierra Mountains. They hold water banding and show red, mauve, or black webbing. As thundereggs, they count as rhyolite, rich in silicate with brecciation packed by silica. That mix polishes smooth, perfect for cabochons and specimens.
Cut and polished faces; natural outer “egg” texture on the back and sides
