Hyalite Opal Geode UV Reactive

One of my favorite crystals out there is this Hyalite Opal Geode. It's green UV’s reactive under shortwave fluorescent light, truly a stunning sight. Comes from San Felipe, Guanajuato, México.

Hyalite opal from Mexico is a rare, colorless-to-greenish opal variety famous for its intense fluorescence. These specimens are highly prized by collectors for their striking glow under daylight and UV light, as well as their unique volcanic origin.

Pictures and videos were taken using a 254nm UV shortwave detection light.
