Borcarite from Mexico is an exceptionally rare calcium–magnesium borate–carbonate that forms delicate sea‑blue to bluish‑green crystals, with the San Bartolo Mine in Charcas, San Luis Potosí producing some of the finest specimens ever found. These Mexican pieces are highly prized for their sharp crystal habit, translucency, and unusually vivid color. Borcarite is very rare, and Mexican finds are limited.
